DAY 1  Inverness to Tain

We started  under partly sunny skies and something in the low 60's.  The route took us over the bridge crossing the Firth of Moray and out of town.  Pleasant riding through farm lands and rolling hills.

From the left, Lori, Sue, Ian, Don, Leo, Allan(Ian's brother, Beth and Randy on the far right.
Looks like a mini ABB reunion!

Our host, Ian

Rolling hills, views of the Firth of Moray
A fish and chips restaurant in a small village

An old Beardmore taxi
just like home...almost!

A small ferry took us across the firth to Nigg.

A visit to the Glenmorangie Distillery proved to be interesting, even if you don't like single malt scotch whiskey.

Sampling the wares in a distillery is maybe not a good idea...

Oak barrels, made in the USA and imported for aging the whiskey.
