We had a couple days before the ride started to visit with Ian and Irene in Newcastle before we left to pick up Leo and Sue in Edinburgh and then meet up with Beth and Randy in Inverness. Ian's brother Alan, met us in Inverness also.

Loch Ness...about 24 miles long. We spent part of the day sightseeing ...looking for sightings of Nessie!

We visited Urquhart Castle on the shore of Loch Ness. It dates back about 1000 years. Incredible ruins!
